Design

Designing your dream kitchen can be an exciting and rewarding, but the process can be tedious if don’t have the right team to help you. At New Keyman Kitchen and Shop Fitting, our professional team will be more than happy to guide you through the job from the beginning to the end. Start by thinking about what kind of aesthetic you want. Do you prefer modern, traditional, country or industrial? Once you have decided on the overall style, you will then have to choose the layout of the kitchen based on how you would use your kitchen. Things you will have to consider may be: what appliances would you use and whether you want to place them on the countertop or integrate them into your cabinets? How many cookwares, bakeware, glassware and cutlery you have? Generally, you would want to have more drawers than cabinets the more loose items you have in your kitchen. Whether you have to place consumables like coffee, tea, cereals, drinks and snack inside the cabinets or place them on open shelf to showoff your taste? Once you have the style and layout figured out, you can start to think about the details, like the finishes and colors of the cabinetry , countertops, and appliances. You’ll want to choose materials and finishes that will coordinate with the overall look and feel of the kitchen. It’s also important to factor in your budget and make sure you’re not overspending. Next, you’ll need to consider lighting. Natural light is ideal, so think about how you can bring it in. If that isn’t possible, make sure you have plenty of task lighting so you can work in the kitchen even when the sun isn’t out. Finally, don’t forget to add some personal touches. This could be anything from colorful artwork to a statement piece of furniture.

Once all the planning is done, it’s time to start putting it all together. This involves installation, such as putting up cabinets and countertops and connecting appliances. Thankfully, at New Keyman Kitchen & Shop Fitting, we have our own team of certified installers, plumbers, and electricians. Making sure that the whole installation process is as smooth and quick as it could be. With a little time and effort, you can create a kitchen that is both attractive and functional.
